Linger

Deep within the depths of love it seems to linger in one’s soul. Consistently coming back in waves, reminder, a picture of what could be. Yet, it comes and brings love at times when we are most broken and damaged within ourselves. Filled with destruction. Self sabotage. Ignorance of the gift that has been given. But it chooses to come at the moment when it is needed the most to see beyond the pain, suffering, trauma — A way to pull one out of the darkness that has succumbed its soul. To awaken the being to another spectrum of life. Providing a path to healing one’s soul.
